About the Role:

As an Assistant Technician, you will be responsible for assembling and disassembling units with precision, ensuring the accuracy of data entry related to completed units via computer. This role is essential to maintaining quality standards in a busy manufacturing setting. You will work with a variety of phone components, employing your soldering skills and understanding of electronic schematics to contribute to a successful team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and disassemble electronic units with attention to detail.

  • Accurately enter data for completed units using computer systems.

  • Operate test equipment and interpret basic schematics to troubleshoot issues.

  • Perform soldering and de-soldering tasks, supporting cell phone rework processes.

  • Maintain a high standard of quality in a fast-paced environment, ensuring safety and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in electronics or assembly.

  • Proficiency with surface mount and thru-hole soldering techniques.

  • Strong understanding of phone components and basic troubleshooting skills.

  • Ability to operate test equipment and read schematics.

  • Good manual dexterity, attention to detail, and analytical skills.

  • Must be able to stand for entire shift and lift up to 50 lbs.

Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
