Job description

Job Purpose:
- This position is responsible for delivering meals and other assigned items to clients in the Greater Dayton Area using your personal vehicle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for delivering ordered meals and other assigned items to clients in Central Ohio using personal vehicle.
- Check orders, count meals and beverages, and ensure accuracy before delivery.
- Load and deliver meals, cases of Ensure, written materials, client contribution envelopes, and other items.
- Ensure timely and safe delivery of items to clients.
- Maintain communication with the dispatch team for any updates or changes in delivery routes.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients, ensuring their needs are met and addressing any concerns during delivery.
- Follow all safety and health protocols while handling and delivering food items.
- Keep accurate records of deliveries and any client interactions for reporting purposes.

Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Required Experience:
- Experience in delivery or courier services using a personal vehicle.
- Familiarity with the Greater Dayton Area and Central Ohio for efficient route planning.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience working with older adults and handicapped individuals.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to manage time effectively to ensure timely deliveries.
- Strong organizational skills for checking orders and counting items accurately.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and handling written materials.
- Physical ability to load and deliver meals, beverages, and other items safely.
