Location: Milwaukee, WI (Field-Based, Travel Required)
Job Type: Full-Time | Hourly (Non-Exempt)
Pay: First-Year Earnings Potential $68,000-$72,000

Job Summary
We are seeking a Field Service Technician to support industrial centrifuge equipment at customer facilities, primarily in the dairy and food processing industries. This is a hands-on, mechanical, customer-facing role with extensive travel and strong growth opportunities.
No centrifuge experience required.
Technicians with strong mechanical aptitude and transferable field or industrial skills are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform scheduled maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on industrial centrifuges
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and process-related issues
  • Provide onsite technical support and customer training
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and according to customer and company standards
  • Communicate job status, parts needs, and recommendations to customers
  • Complete accurate service reports and documentation
  • Follow up with customers after service to confirm proper operation
  • Participate in rotating after-hours and weekend service support
  • Travel to customer sites across the Midwest

  • Availability for scheduled weekend and after-hours rotation

  • Trade school or technical training
  • Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs routinely
  • Ability to stand, walk, kneel, crawl, and work in confined or industrial spaces
  • Ability to work extended shifts when required
  • Ability to travel, drive, and safely perform physical job duties at customer sites
  • Ability to wear required PPE (safety glasses, steel-toe boots, etc.)

Schedule & Travel Expectations
  • Typically onsite 1-5 days at a time
  • Occasionally onsite up to 8 days for limited projects
  • Regularly scheduled 1-2 weekends per month
  • Rarely 3 weekends/month (discussed in advance)
  • Employees may decline a 4th weekend if ever requested
