Now interviewing for Residential Recovery Technician

Aspire Indiana Health is a nonprofit provider of comprehensive “whole health” services including primary medical care, behavioral health, recovery services and programs addressing the social determinants of health such as housing and employment. Aspire has health centers in five Central Indiana counties serving Hoosiers of all ages and walks of life.

Position Summary

The Residential Recovery Technician will provide substance use/behavioral health related services to clients and their families in a residential setting to achieve the client’s identified goals in accordance with Aspire’s substance use disorder treatment philosophy.  The Resident Recovery Technician will also provide a strength-based approach in assisting the client in connecting with recovery community supports and community resources.  In addition, this position will work with the client on developing a Relapse Recovery Plan and developing the skills necessary to decrease and/or eliminate substance use.  

Education/Experience

  • High School Diploma/Equivalent and one (1) year of related experience preferred or two (2) years of substance use disorder experience required 
  • Knowledge in addiction and how addiction impacts an individual and their family highly preferred
  • Work experience in a health care setting, preferably Addiction Treatment or Mental Health, a plus
  • Trained in Motivational Interviewing and Trauma Informed Care, a plus 

Certification 

  • Certification as Peer Addiction Recovery Coach, a plus
