We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team at the Addiction Recovery Trauma Clinic. This full-time role is primarily remote, allowing for a flexible work-life balance while providing essential mental health services to our clients. This position offers the flexibility of remote work, enabling you to connect with clients through a secure telehealth platform. Though predominantly remote, you will also have the opportunity to collaborate with our dedicated outpatient team in our clinic's office setting when needed. Our operational hours are Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 4 PM, with some flexibility required to meet patient needs.

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs, utilizing evidence-based practices to develop tailored treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions, including techniques from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to effectively address various mental health issues.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical records in accordance with HIPAA and regulatory standards to ensure compliance and the highest quality of care.
• Engage collaboratively with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to deliver comprehensive care and discuss case progress during regular consultations.
• Provide education and resources to clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment modalities, and local community services.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in mental health research and best practices to enhance the therapeutic experience for clients.

You will work with a diverse client base, including individuals struggling with trauma, anxiety, depression, and addiction-related issues. Our clients come from various backgrounds, often bringing unique challenges and stories that require a compassionate and personalized approach to therapy. • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• An active license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.
• Strong competency in employing solution-based psychotherapy interventions and techniques, personalizing approaches for individual clients.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate effective therapy and build strong client relationships.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills to navigate complex client situations.
• A collaborative mindset, valuing the input and expertise of colleagues in the mental health field.

• Experience working in a mental health or addiction recovery setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and digital documentation systems is a plus.
• Proficient in a range of therapeutic modalities, with a focus on trauma-informed practices.
