Located in Stockton, CA, you will be part of a facility that specializes in addiction recovery, allowing you to focus on a population that is both challenging and rewarding. You will typically see 16-20 patients daily, ensuring that each individual receives focused attention and personalized care.

In this role, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough medical evaluations to understand each patient's comprehensive health status.
• Developing individualized care plans that address both addiction treatment and emerging medical needs.
• Utilizing established protocols such as the Clinical Institute Withdrawal Assessment (CIWA) and the Clinical Opiate Withdrawal Scale (COWS) to monitor and manage withdrawal symptoms effectively.
• Prescribing Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) medications, making necessary adjustments while working under supervision from a physician.
• Assessing co-occurring mental health conditions and integrating this assessment into the treatment strategy to ensure a holistic approach.
• Maintaining accurate and timely electronic health records to support continuity of care.
• Collaborating with nurses, physicians, therapists, and social workers to optimize patient outcomes and foster a supportive healthcare environment.
• Providing guidance and support to other healthcare team members to enhance overall patient care delivery.

You will be serving a diverse patient population, primarily individuals navigating addiction recovery, many of whom may suffer from co-occurring mental health disorders. Your expertise will not only assist them in their recovery from addiction but also empower them to address broader health issues that may affect their overall well-being. We value applicants who are fluent in languages such as Chinese, Spanish, Tagalog, or Vietnamese, as this can greatly enhance our communication and efficacy in care.

To excel in this position, you must meet the following requirements:

• Active Physician Assistant (PA) license in California.
• Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Family (FNP), Adult (ANP), or Psychiatric/Mental Health (PMHNP) with a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN).
• Possess a valid DEA license, NPI number, and Board of Pharmacy License to prescribe medications.

A minimum of two years of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, particularly in a behavioral health or addiction recovery setting, is highly preferred. Experience working in a surgical center is also advantageous and will be considered a strong asset.

You will receive a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 150,000 to 170,000, commensurate with your experience and skills. In addition, we offer a robust benefits package that includes:
