We are actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our team. In this full-time role, you will provide invaluable support to individuals facing addiction challenges. Your primary focus will be on delivering high-quality clinical care through individual, couples, and group therapy, with a specific emphasis on addiction treatment and recovery.

Work Environment

This position is fully remote, providing you the flexibility to work from anywhere while contributing to a meaningful cause. Our work schedule is structured to promote work-life balance, with regular hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough clinical assessments to determine each client's mental health needs, specifically targeting substance use disorders and related mental health issues.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual client goals, ensuring that all therapeutic interventions are aligned with best practices in addiction recovery.
  • Facilitate individual, couples, and group counseling sessions, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities to engage with a diverse client population effectively.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare providers to coordinate comprehensive care for clients, sharing insights and recommendations to enhance treatment outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with HIPAA and ethical standards, ensuring that all documentation reflects the highest level of professionalism.
  • Participate in regular clinical supervision, case conferences, and professional development activities to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in mental health care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on clients struggling with addiction and substance misuse. You will work with individuals in varying stages of recovery, providing crisis intervention, trauma-informed care, and emotional support during their most challenging times. You will be instrumental in implementing strategies for suicide prevention and emotional crisis management, ensuring clients feel safe and understood.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in a mental health-related field is required.
  • Must hold an independent LMHC license in the state of Florida.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in addiction therapy and substance use disorders is highly desirable.
  • Strong clinical skills, along with proven ability to build rapport and therapeutic alliances with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Knowledge of and commitment to evidence-based treatment modalities and best practices in mental health counseling.
Compensation and Benefits
