• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate each client's substance abuse history as well as underlying mental health conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that address both addiction and co-occurring mental health issues, ensuring comprehensive care.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing.
• Work closely with fellow clinicians, psychiatrists, and support staff to deliver integrated care that encompasses all client needs.
• Offer education and resources to clients’ families to foster understanding and involvement in the recovery process.
• Maintain meticulous documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring accurate records that track progress and treatment effectiveness.

Our primary focus is on individuals facing substance use disorders and related mental health concerns. Clients come from diverse backgrounds and may be dealing with varied issues ranging from addiction to anxiety, depression, and trauma. Your role will entail engaging with each client to build trust and rapport, ensuring they feel understood and supported throughout their recovery journey.

• Current license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) is required.
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is essential.
• Demonstrated specialized training or substantial experience in addiction counseling is strongly preferred.
• Proven knowledge of best practices for substance use treatment and co-occurring disorders is crucial for achieving optimal outcomes.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to motivate and inspire clients to make positive changes.

Experience working in addiction treatment environments and familiarity with healthcare regulations and ethical standards will be an added advantage. Knowledge of community resources and treatment programs that can be integrated into client care will further enhance your effectiveness in this role.

The salary for this full-time Licensed Mental Health Counselor position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
