MAIN FUNCTION:                

  • To be responsible for the direct treatment of an assigned caseload of clients who are addicted to alcohol or any other moodaltering substances.
  • User role(s) information systems access as assigned, where applicable
  • This position is classified as Essential for emergency closure purposes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provides group counseling to an assigned caseload.
  • Provides individual counseling as clinically necessary.
  • Designs and implements treatment plans and treatment plan reviews.
  • Generates referral source progress reports.
  • Conducts lectures, seminars, workshops, and taskoriented groups.
  • Maintains contact with referral sources, including EAP's, probation, parole and outpatient treatment providers, etc.
  • Initiates Discharge Planning and makes appropriate referrals when necessary.
  • Participates in all scheduled Case Conferencing and Discharge Planning meetings for treatment review of clients.
  • Attends biweekly individual supervision and bi-weekly group supervision.
  • Participates in staff meetings.
  • Completes all required consent for release of information forms.
  • Conduct Peer Review monthly.
  • Enter progress notes and other clinical documentation as needed into the EMR.
  • Responsible for approving qualified family members for attendance in the Family Program.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
