Join our team as a System Test Engineer in Johnson City, TN, where you'll be instrumental in system-wide and product-oriented testing across the Siemens Factory Automation ecosystem.

We are looking for a System Test Engineer. This role will be located in Johnson City, TN.
As a System Test Engineer, you'll make an impact by:
  • Validating industrial automation products and systems.
  • Automating workflows where possible to improve efficiency and repeatability.
  • Documenting test procedures.
  • Recording and reporting test results.
  • Reproducing customer reported problems and supporting R&D in resolving.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams and adapt testing strategies to evolving requirements.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2+ years experience in verification/validation or quality assurance within industrial or automation environments.
  • Experience in system testing, validation, and quality assurance within industrial or automation environments.
  • Experience with industrial protocols such as OPC UA, PROFINET, industrial safety (Profisafe).
  • Experience with TIA Portal/Step7, S7-PLCSIM, WINCC.
  • Experience with programming in high level languages (e.g., C, C#, C++, Python).
  • Experience with PLC programming (e.g., LAD, SCL).
  • ISTQB/ASTQB certificate

The pay range for this position is $49,350 - $84,600 annually with a target incentive of 5% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
