Job description

Master Auto Care is SEEKING a Technician with hands-on experience performing ADAS diagnostics and calibrations. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced ADAS Technician looking to join a professional shop and become an important part of a growing ADAS department. 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Perform static and dynamic ADAS calibrations.
  • Perform pre-scans and post scans.
  • Diagnose calibration failures and determine why a calibration will not complete.
  • Verify calibration prerequisites including alignment, ride height, tire condition, battery voltage, DTC's and vehicle positioning. 
  • Set up targets, radar reflectors, calibration mats and related equipment accurately.
  • Calibrate forward-facing cameras, radar sensors, blind-spot systems and other ADAS components.
  • Follow OEM calibration procedures and specifications. 
  • Properly document calibration procedures and results. 
  • Maintain and organize ADAS equipment.
  • Communicate professionally with technicians, service advisors, customers and outside repaire facilities. 
  • Assist with mobile ADAS calibrations when needed - coming soon.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • PREVIOUS ADAS CALIBRATION EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED. 

Experience in the following areas is required:
  • Static and dynamic ADAS calibration.
  • OEM calibration procedures.
  • Vehicle scanning and diagnostics.
  • Alignment and steering-angle procedures.
  • ADAS target and equipment setup.
  • Troubleshooting failed calibrations.
  • Multiple vehicle manufacturers and platforms.
