Position Overview

Adapt Psychotherapy Services is seeking a compassionate and skilled Clinical Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dedicated team. This full-time role offers the flexibility of remote work while providing essential mental health services to our diverse client population. In this remote position, you will primarily engage in outpatient therapy sessions, offering convenience and flexibility for both you and our clients. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will consist of:

  • Conducting comprehensive individual, couples, and family therapy sessions to address the diverse needs of clients.
  • Assessing clients' mental health and relational challenges, and developing personalized treatment plans aimed at fostering positive change.
  • Employing a variety of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and narrative therapy, tailored to each clientโ€™s specific needs.
  • Utilizing clinical judgment and established protocols to conduct diagnostic assessments and modify treatment plans based on client progress.
  • Collaborating with fellow clinicians and support staff to create a multidisciplinary approach to care, ensuring clients receive holistic support.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and progress in accordance with organizational standards and ethical guidelines.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will reflect a commitment to serving a wide range of clients, including individuals with mental health disorders, couples navigating relationship difficulties, and families facing various challenges. As you engage with clients from diverse backgrounds, fostering an inclusive and culturally competent environment will be essential. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of hands-on experience in providing clinical social work services, particularly with diverse populations.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in conducting thorough diagnostic assessments and effectively developing and implementing treatment plans.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills that enable the establishment of rapport and trust with clients.
  • A deep commitment to cultural competence, social justice, and ethical practice in mental health care.
Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
