Job description

Join a Practice That Puts Clinicians First
At The Conscious Adapt, we believe exceptional mental healthcare begins with supporting the clinicians who provide it.

We are a growing psychology practice serving Austin, Texas, and clients across the state through both in-person and telehealth services. Our mission is simple: provide high-quality, ethical, and accessible mental healthcare while creating a workplace where clinicians feel valued, supported, and empowered to do their best work.

If you're looking for the autonomy of private practice without the burden of credentialing, billing, marketing, insurance administration, or office management, we'd love to meet you.

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary and Productivity Model

  • We offer a guaranteed base salary of $5,000 per month for your first 90 days while you build your caseload.
  • After onboarding, compensation transitions to a productivity-based model that rewards clinicians for their work and growth. Providers earn compensation for each completed session, with higher earnings available as caseload volume increases.

Full-time clinicians maintaining approximately 30 client hours per week have strong earning potential while benefiting from the stability and support of a W-2 position.

Additional Benefits
  • 10 days paid vacation annually
  • 5 days paid sick leave annually
  • Paid holidays
  • Medical, dental, and vision plan access
  • Professional liability insurance provided
  • Continuing education reimbursement
  • Licensure renewal reimbursement
  • EHR and technology provided
  • Professional consultation and clinical support
  • Administrative support for scheduling, billing, credentialing, and marketing

What You'll Do
  • Provide individual psychotherapy using evidence-based treatment approaches
  • Maintain timely and compliant clinical documentation
  • Manage a full outpatient caseload
  • Collaborate with fellow clinicians and practice staff
  • Maintain licensure, continuing education, and professional standards
  • Provide family or couples therapy if desired

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Active, unrestricted Texas license as an LP, LPC, LCSW, or LMFT
  • Independent licensure status
  • Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited program
  • Minimum of 2 years of outpatient clinical experience
  • Strong clinical judgment and ethical decision-making skills
  • Excellent documentation and communication abilities
  • Commitment to culturally responsive, inclusive care
  • Ability to work on-site at Westlake office

About The Conscious Adapt

The Conscious Adapt is committed to building a diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplace where every provider, client, and team member feels respected, supported, and valued. We believe that fostering diversity strengthens our clinical work and enhances the care we provide to our community.
