Job description

Job Summary:
Syntricate Technologies is seeking a Natural Adabas Admin to manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Software AG Adabas & Natural products in the z/OS environment. The role involves troubleshooting technical issues, optimizing system performance, and serving as a liaison between customers and Software AG support teams.
Responsibilities:
• A&N Consultant proficient in installation, configuration, and maintenance of Software AG Adabas & Natural suite of products in the z/OS environment.
• Experience must include: Ability to install, configure and maintain A&N system software in an operating environment.
• Isolate and resolve technical issues that arise.
• Present technical topics and answer customer questions related to the software.
• Serve as liaison between customer staff and Software AG Global Support / R&D.
• Optimize performance of the A&N solution through configuration and settings.
• Have a thorough understanding of the operating system and communicates fluently with system administrators / system programmers.
• Installation and configuration of Software AG Adabas & Natural Suite.
• The Software AG customer is looking for an experienced consultant to upgrade the products from software versions last upgraded around 2010 to the latest or agreed upon released versions.
• Ability to work independently and liaise with other administrators.
