Job description

This position can be remote; however, if you reside near our offices in Menomonee Falls, WI, or New York City, NY, we request that you work onsite from Monday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Fridays.

About the Role

In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of vendors, their agency partners and the merchants, helping them plan, execute, and optimize media campaigns across our retail media platforms. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, ad operations, analytics, and product, to ensure client success and revenue growth.

What You’ll Do

  • Own day-to-day client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor for the category of accounts in partnership with the sales lead/sales manager

  • Work closely with internal teams (sales, analytics, product, ad ops) to deliver seamless execution and drive client satisfaction

  • Manage end-to-end campaign lifecycle, from planning, campaign set-up,   execution, post-campaign reporting and client touchpoints in between

  • The Account Manager will be responsible for achieving upselling and cross-selling targets and working with the sales team to foster and grow existing vendor partnerships

  • Monitor campaign performance, proactively identify opportunities for improvement and provide actionable insights to maximize ROI

  • Collaborate with clients on campaign strategy aligned to their goals, using first-party retail data and audience segmentation

  • Deliver regular campaign performance reviews and business updates to clients, highlighting successes, learnings and growth opportunities

  • Identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities and support renewal discussions in collaboration with the category sales lead

  • Utilize internal tools and ad tech platforms (DSPs, SSPs, etc.) to manage campaigns and measure results

  • Provide client and market feedback to help inform product development and innovation within the retail media network

  • Maintain an expertise in media ad products available across Kohl’s Media Network

  • Identify any business churn risks as early as possible and devise action plans to minimize risk

  • Additional tasks may be assigned

What Skills You Have

Required

  • 2–5 years of experience in account management, client success management, digital advertising, or performance marketing, ideally within a retail media, eCommerce or online media environment

  • Strong ability to interpret data and create supportive narratives

  • Proven ability to build strong internal relationships with sales, merchant teams, and operations functions

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business or related field
