  • Contribute to the structuring of competitive financing packages while maintaining a balanced view of risk, return, credit quality and client needs.
  • Complete financial spreading, trend analysis, sensitivity analysis and financial modelling appropriate to the complexity of the account and transaction.
  • Support due diligence and closing activities by coordinating information requirements, conditions precedent, documentation items and internal approvals with deal team members.
  • Assist with ongoing portfolio monitoring and control processes, including covenant tracking, annual review and expiry management, exception follow-up, internal reporting and maintenance of complete credit files.
  • Identify emerging credit issues and escalate material findings promptly to the Associate Director, Director and/or Credit leadership, as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with Relationship Management, Credit, Operations, Risk, Legal and other partners to support coordinated and timely transaction execution.
  • Deliver reliable, responsive service to internal and external stakeholders and contribute to continuous improvement of the client and colleague experience.
  • Maintain current knowledge of automotive retail trends, dealership financial drivers, TDAF products, credit policies, systems and related tools.
  • Participate as an engaged member of the team, contribute to knowledge sharing and support ad hoc initiatives as assigned.
Job Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting or another relevant quantitative discipline, or an equivalent work experience.
  • Previous experience in Commercial or Corporate Banking, credit underwriting, risk management or a related field; exposure to larger or more complex transactions is preferred.
  • Solid foundation in credit analysis, financial statement analysis and problem solving, with the ability to develop well-reasoned conclusions.
  • Financial modelling skills and proficiency with spreadsheet and presentation tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to organize complex information into clear credit narratives.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative deal team, while seeking guidance and escalating issues appropriately.
  • Ability to engage professionally with internal and external stakeholders, including Relationship Management, Credit, Risk, Operations, Legal and clients.
