Job Summary:
Acura of Avon, a reputable automotive dealership located in Canton, Connecticut, is seeking a skilled and experienced Acura Service Technician to join our team on a full-time basis. If you are a technician at an aftermarket repair facility we'd love to meet you and discuss what opportunities we currently offer. Here at Acura of Avon we encourage growth and training and offer a 4 day work week for all of our technicians. 


Compensation & Benefits:
The Acura Service Technician position at Acura of Avon offers a competitive flat rate/hourly wage. Our employees also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including medical and dental coverage, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.


Responsibilities:
• Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and basic vehicle inspections
• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues on Acura vehicles
• Utilize diagnostic equipment and technical manuals to accurately diagnose and repair vehicle issues
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety procedures and protocols
• Communicate effectively with customers to explain recommended repairs and provide updates on repair status
• Continuously update skills and knowledge through training and education programs provided by Acura
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational school degree preferred
• At least 2-3 years of experience as a Service Technician
• ASE certifications preferred
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Dependable and driven personality
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
