• Conducting thorough physical examinations to accurately diagnose patients’ conditions.
• Administering individualized acupuncture treatments tailored to each patient's specific health needs and goals.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to design comprehensive treatment plans that incorporate acupuncture and other holistic practices.
• Staying current with best practices by engaging in staff education, mentoring, and community outreach about the benefits of acupuncture and holistic healing.
• Employing advanced techniques such as cupping and electro-acupuncture as necessary in treatments.
• Effectively communicating treatment objectives and methods to patients, ensuring they understand their care and feel comfortable throughout the process.
• Participating in the implementation of wellness initiatives aimed at improving conditions and preventative care strategies.
• Managing patient records with detail and precision, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

As an Acupuncturist at Elixir Acupuncture Center, you will work with a diverse patient population facing various health conditions, including chronic pain, stress-related issues, and functional disorders. • A Bachelor’s degree in Acupuncture or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinical acupuncture setting.
• Certification and licensure to practice acupuncture in the state of Virginia.
• Strong foundation in traditional Chinese medicine principles and techniques.
• Exceptional patient-care skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically.
• Proven experience in collaborative settings, demonstrating the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.

• Advanced Continuing Education Units (CEUs) in specialized areas such as sports medicine acupuncture or trigger point acupuncture.
• Proficiency in administrative procedures, including medical billing and insurance processes, to optimize the patient experience and streamline clinic operations.

This full-time position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $20 to $75, depending on experience, plus potential bonuses.
