Ballard Acupuncture Center is seeking an experienced, compassionate acupuncturist with a strong interest in fertility and women's health to join our established, woman-owned practice. 


Since 2009, we have been dedicated to supporting women through fertility, pregnancy, postpartum recovery, perimenopause, and menopause. Our mission is to provide exceptional care while creating a space where women feel heard, supported, and empowered.

Compensation:

$120 - $220 hourly


Responsibilities:

About the Position 

We're looking for an acupuncturist who is passionate about supporting women through the many transitions of life—from preparing for pregnancy and fertility treatments to pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and the hormonal changes of perimenopause and menopause.


One of the things that sets our clinic apart is our comprehensive approach to women's health. In addition to acupuncture, we regularly incorporate individualized Chinese herbal formulas, supplements, and Point Injection Therapy (PIT) to help our patients achieve the best possible outcomes.  


This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to specialize further in fertility and women's health while receiving mentorship from experienced practitioners in a busy, established clinic. 


Responsibilities 

  • Provide exceptional acupuncture treatments focused on fertility and women's health 
  • Prescribe individualized Chinese herbal formulas 
  • Recommend supplements and lifestyle modifications when appropriate 
  • Perform or learn Point Injection Therapy (PIT) 
  • Complete accurate and timely chart notes 

Qualifications:

Required 

  • Master's or Doctorate in Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine 
  • Strong education and confidence in Chinese Herbal Medicine 
  • Current Washington State Acupuncture License 
  • Current malpractice insurance 
  • Authorization to work in the United States 


Preferred 

  • Experience treating fertility and women's health patients after graduation 
  • Experience supporting IVF patients 
  • PIT experience (training available) 
  • Passion for continued learning and collaboration 


Compensation & Benefits 

This is a commission-based position with strong earning potential. 

  • 40% commission on acupuncture services 
  • 10% commission on retail sales (Chinese herbs, supplements, and Point Injection Therapy) 


Because we are a successful cash-based practice, practitioners typically earn: (2 rooms available/hr)

  • $100–$110 for each new patient visit 
  • $58–$70 for each return visit

  • Monday: 10:00 AM–3:00 PM

Additional hours are expected to become available.
