Finance and Insurance (F&I) Manager

JobResponsibilities:

  • Independently review all required transactional documents prior to sale completion

  • Analyze and compare documents for internal consistency of populated data.

  • Correct any inconsistencies discovered and verify with the customer.

  • Work with the customer to explain the meaning of transactional required documents.

  • Obtain signatures from the customer on required documents.

  • Maintain a high level of professionalism with employees and customers.

  • Maximize sale of back-end products.

  • Maintain CITs under 10 days.

  • Meet Finance Manager KPIs.

  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with lending sources, extended warranty vendor,GAP insurance provider, and more.

  • Supporting the dealership on the designated day off the General Manager.

  • Assist General Manager in the interviewing process and recruitment of staff.

  • Assist fellow management and assist in the training of Sales Consultant staff.

  • Oversee the training and execution of the finance process.

  • Partner with General Manager to secure building and vehicle inventory.

Schedule:

  • 5 day work week

  • Monday toSaturday; 1 weekday off either Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday

    • Saturday from 9 AM to7 PM

Physical Expectations:

  • Walking and standing for extended periods, especially when interacting with customers or checking the service area.

  • Occasional bending, stretching, or reaching to handle paperwork or inspect vehicles.

  • Visual Acuity to be able to inspect vehicles and read documents (even though most work is administrative, there could be a need to inspect cars on the lot).

  • Verbal Communication the ability to speak clearly and listen attentively to customers' concerns, technicians' explanations, and communicate effectively.

  • Auditory Acuity to hear well to communicate with coworkers and customers in potentially noisy environments (like the service department).

  • Manual Dexterity to use a computer, phone, or other office equipment efficiently.

  • Light Lifting may occasionally need to move, carry, or lift items such as promotional materials, small products, or display items (e.g., up to 25-50 lbs.).

  • Sitting for Extended Periods such as sitting at a desk or in meetings, handling tasks and paperwork.

Work Environment:

  • Onsite desk setup to assist in-person customers
