We have an exciting opening for a Pneumatic Actuator Engineering Co-op - Spring 2027 in Wadsworth, OH.

Your main responsibilities

The Pneumatic Division North America Pneumatic Co-op will work on engineering and documenting linear and rotary pneumatic actuators used in material handling and packing applications.

A rotation in product engineering will expose the incumbent to the aspects of daily engineering tasks. This includes the use of computer aided drawing (CAD) to complete detailed machining prints, customer drawings, and fixture design. The co-op will also be exposed to cross-department interactions, performance and life testing, and various meetings.

Job Overview:

  • Modify/Create layout, part detail and assembly drawings to design specifications using Autodesk Inventor.
  • Perform basic engineering calculations.
  • Create model index charts and bill of material phantom groups used in building various product options.
  • Assist in set up and monitoring of laboratory tests on product prototypes and life cycle tests when required.
  • Modify engineering documents to reflect changes for improvement.
  • Assist with product failure analysis
  • Additional tasks as assigned

We are looking for a talent with

  • Current enrollment in a Mechanical Engineering or Bachelor's Degree program required
  • Sophomore class status or higher required
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment required
  • Excel experience a plus
  • Hands-on mechanical experience a plus
  • Due to federal contracts, you must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
