Strategic Comp is looking for an Actuarial Analyst to support actuarial reporting, analytics, and business initiatives. This role is responsible for supporting the internal pricing tool, producing recurring reports, performing actuarial analyses, and collaborating with business partners across the organization. The position provides exposure to pricing, profitability, trend analysis, data analytics, and actuarial modeling while contributing to operational efficiency.

To support this, employees in this role are expected to be on-site four days a week, with the flexibility to work one day remotely. Core in-office days are Tuesday-Thursday, with the fourth day determined by business needs.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support and maintain the internal pricing tool, including troubleshooting issues, testing enhancements, and updating templates.
  • Produce recurring actuarial and management reports while ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Assist with actuarial analyses, including profitability studies, pricing analyses, trend monitoring, and experience reviews.
  • Support actuarial model development, maintenance, and data analysis initiatives.
  • Partner with underwriting, claims, finance, product, and technology teams to address business needs and support projects.
  • Document processes, recommend improvements, and help enhance reporting and operational efficiency.
  • Communicate analytical findings and support business decision-making.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
  • Generally, 0-2 years of actuarial or analytical experience.
  • Successful completion of at least one CAS actuarial examination.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with data analysis tools.
