We are now seeking a part-time Driver & Activity Assistant.
The Driver & Activity Assistant is responsible for:
Transportation of residents and guests in company vehicles
Assisting residents and guests in and out of vehicles and and ability to lift and stow away their walkers in the vehicle.
Assisting with and leading activities, including craft classes, special events, community outings, and recreational programs
Accompanying residents on trips and outings
Creating fun, engaging, and adventurous experiences for our residents
Schedule
16-20 hours per week
  • Wednesday: 8:00 AM-4:30 PM - fixed and not negotiable
  • Tuesday: 4 hours, starting after 10:00 AM
  • Thursday: 4 hours, starting after 10:00 AM

Tuesday and Thursday hours may vary based on activities, classes, transportation needs, and trips, including afternoon and evening hours
One weekend day per month required
The successful candidate must have flexibility in their schedule to accommodate program needs.
The successful candidate will have at least two years of professional driving/customer service experience and a minimum of five years' overall driving experience. Must have a clean driving record. Must have the ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records.
