Are you a passionate and creative individual looking to make a meaningful impact on the lives of seniors? Pomeroy Living is seeking a dedicated Activity Director to lead our vibrant activities program.
Responsibilities:
  • Plan, organize, and implement a diverse range of recreational and social activities.
  • Supervise and train activity staff and volunteers.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and staff.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a holistic approach to resident care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
  • Adhere to all regulatory guidelines and company policies.
Qualifications:
  • Certified Therapeutic Recreational Specialist (CTRS) or Certified Activity Director (CAD) required.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a social or recreational program within the last five years, including at least one year in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for working with seniors
