We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Coordinator working hybrid (2 days in office) from our Calhoun, GA location. Reporting to the VP, Human Resources, the HR Coordinator, Talent Acquisition & HR Projects plays a key role in supporting the full-cycle recruiting and onboarding experience while also contributing to HR operational and project-based initiatives. This role is responsible for coordinating recruiting logistics, creating and managing job requisitions, scheduling interviews, supporting onboarding and Day 1 new hire experience activities, and assisting with HR reporting, process improvement, and project coordination. The position also supports broader HR operations through data analysis, process administration, project execution, and cross-functional coordination to help drive operational efficiency and positive employee experiences.

What You'll Do:
Talent Acquisition & Recruiting Support
  • Create and manage job requisitions within the Workday applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Coordinate interview scheduling between candidates, hiring managers, recruiters, and interview teams
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for candidates throughout the interview process
  • Support recruiting operations, including posting positions, maintaining candidate records, and ensuring data accuracy
  • Prepare offer documentation and support pre-employment processes as needed
  • Track recruiting metrics and assist with reporting and hiring activity updates

Onboarding & New Hire Experience:
  • Coordinate onboarding activities to ensure a smooth and positive Day 1 experience for new hires
  • Partner with HR, hiring managers, IT, and other departments to ensure onboarding readiness
  • Facilitate new hire communications and orientation logistics
  • Monitor onboarding completion tasks and maintain accurate employee records
  • Assist with new hire paperwork, system access coordination, and compliance documentation

HR Projects & Analyst Support:
  • Support HR initiatives and cross-functional projects through research, coordination, tracking, and reporting
  • Assist with HR analytics, dashboards, and reporting related to recruiting, onboarding, turnover, and other HR metrics
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies
  • Maintain HR documentation, procedures, and process guides
  • Support Affirmative Action Plan (AAP) activities and annual compliance processes, including data collection, reporting coordination, documentation support, and partnership with internal and external stakeholders as needed
  • Support special projects and other HR administrative functions as assigned

Experience & Education Desired:
  • Associate degree required (bachelor's degree preferred) in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
  • 2+ years of relevant HR, recruiting coordination, onboarding, or HR operations experience
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information professionally
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with HRIS, particularly WorkDay, preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Proactive and resourceful with strong follow-through
  • High tech-aptitude and curiosity with the ability to rapidly learn and adopt new approaches
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
