North Central Utility (NCU) is looking for a self-motivated and results-driven Parts Warehouse Personnel to represent NCU in the heavy-duty truck & trailer parts industry.

North Central Utility is one of the largest semi-trailer dealerships in the nation and the largest in the North Central region with 10 locations throughout Wisconsin, Minnesota and North Dakota. We offer reefer, dry van and flatbed trailers from Utility Trailer Manufacturing at all locations and vocational trailers from MAC Trailers in Wisconsin - we sell new and used semi-trailers. With Moore Space, we offer temporary storage container solutions as well. Our parts department has an extensive inventory in Heavy-Duty Truck/Tractor and Trailer parts. Our broad product line and geographic coverage ensures we are a “One Stop Shop” for truck and semi-trailer parts. Our service department offers everything from routine maintenance, certified DOT inspections to precision laser alignment, as well as complete wreck repair for trailers of all makes and models. No job is too big or too small for our skilled service technicians.

This position is a safety-sensitive position, requiring pre-employment and post-accident drug testing.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee warehouse operation

• Oversee all shipping and receiving duties

• Oversee warehouse organization

• Assure forklift maintenance is scheduled as needed

• Receive incoming deliveries, verifying correct items and counts are received

• Assure all items are numbered and put in correct location

• Post received items into our computer inventory system, noting any location changes, damage, quantity variations, etc.

• Perform perpetual inventory counts

• Keep warehouse clean and organized

• Manage all shipping supplies

• Manage all outgoing orders

• Assist in stocking store shelves

• Assist answering phone calls

• Assist order processing

• Assist with parts stocking and store organization

• Load & unload vehicles as needed

• Increase sales volume through promotional sales & activity

• Assist ordering parts and filling back orders

• Ensure parts are pulled and ready for daily deliveries

• Build relationships with customers as needed

• Assist back & front counter sales reps

• Maintain dirty cores inventory

• Assist with parts deliveries

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent

• Driver’s License in good standing

• Previous experience preferred

• Strong computer skills

• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) proficiency

• Proficient with technology

• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including but not limited to the ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, twist, reach overhead, stoop, and squat repetitively for long periods of time

• Ability to repetitively push/pull and/or lift/carry at least 50 pounds
