  • Licensure: F endorsement upon hire
  • Job Type: Part Time
  • Schedule: Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9am-4pm

Position Summary:
The Life Enrichment Assistant assists in planning and performing life enrichment activities that are beneficial and complimentary to the social welfare and interests of the residents of a senior life connections community. As a Shuttle Driver, you will provide transportation services for the senior residents in a safe, efficient, and courteous manner. You will take on a rewarding position with an innovative company where hard work pays off and advancement is always a possibility.


Required Experience for Life Enrichment Assistant:

  • Minimum one to three years related experience and/or training preferred.
  • F Endorsement Drivers License; must have a clean driving record.
  • Compassionate & Care for seniors. The ideal candidate will enjoy helping and working with the senior population.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, which may include evenings, weekends, and holiday hours.
  • Ability to work independently and in collaboration of team.
  • Proficient in general computer skills.

Primary Responsibilities for Life Enrichment Assistant:

  • Actively support our 1440 culture and pillars.
  • Assist the Life Enrichment Director with the overall direction, planning, communication, and execution of activities and life skills in the Life Enrichment department.
  • Supports the Life Enrichment Director and Life Enrichment Lead with administrative tasks as needed.
  • Complete all tasks and functions while maintaining a high level of resident safety.
  • Support in proper setup, clean up, and upkeep of activity areas and community spaces.
  • Support transportation by attending outings, coordinating relevant administrative tasks, and upholding safety practices.
  • Adhere to and uphold all standards in the Employee Handbook.

General Working Conditions:
This position entails standing for long periods of time. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to communicate effectively with others, sit, stand, walk and use hands to handle keyboard, telephone, paper, files, and other equipment and objects. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to review detailed documents and read computer screens. The employee will occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The work environment requires appropriate interaction with others. The noise level in the work environment is moderate. Occasional travel to different locations may be required.
