Job description

Summerfield Senior Living of Gulfport, Full-time Activity Assistant
The Activity Assistant will aid the Activity Director with the planning, preparation and implementation of the social, educational, recreational and therapeutic daily or special event activities in the Assisted Living Unit and or Alzheimer's/Dementia Care Unit. The assistant must be flexible to changes in the day to day and other scheduled events. The assistant must have a positive attitude and believe in communication to troubleshoot issues, resolve them and move on.
The assistant must be open to the possibility of driving the Summerfield vehicles for occasional outings.
Must be able to pass a drug screen, background check and have a clean driving record.
