Job description

Now Hiring: Full-Time Activities Assistant
Location: Rancho Bellagio Post Acute
Compensation: $17.50 - $18.00 per hour
Rancho Bellagio Post Acute is seeking a compassionate and energetic Activities Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis for the AM shift. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with seniors and is passionate about enhancing residents' quality of life through meaningful activities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate individual and group activities that meet the functional levels, interests, and cultural or religious preferences of each resident
  • Support residents' individual routines, preferences, and choices while addressing their needs and concerns
  • Communicate effectively with the Activity Director, supervisor, and interdisciplinary team as appropriate
  • Provide one-on-one and in-room activities for residents who are bed-bound or unable to attend group programs
  • Assist residents with activities as needed, adapting programming to cognitive and physical abilities using appropriate support techniques
  • Assist in the development, posting, and distribution of activity calendars
  • Monitor the environment for safety concerns, including fire hazards, and report issues promptly
  • Report housekeeping and maintenance concerns to ensure a safe and comfortable environment
  • Maintain activity areas, equipment, and supplies in a clean, organized, and homelike manner
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Prior experience in a skilled nursing facility is preferred
  • Experience as an Activities Aide or Activities Director is a plus
  • CPR certification is preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
