Job description

Maintain activity calendars that reflect the resident population and meet the needs of patients including special occasion activities during normal workdays and holidays and weekends.

Participate in the Care Plan process.

Organize and implement approved guidelines of the activity department 

Maintain documentation as required by State and Federal regulations

Instruct and coordinate participation of Volunteers with patients

Maintain the recreation equipment and supplies

Interview and assess patients on admission and regularly thereafter but no less than prior to each care plan conference

May be required to coordinate the development of public functions
