Paulding Care Center is looking for a compassionate enthusiast to join our Healthcare team as an Activities Aide/Assistant!

An activities aide/assistant is responsible for helping with physical, educational, or social activities in a variety of settings. As an activities aide, your duties revolve around assisting residents or patients with use of equipment, and planning and monitoring their participation in various activities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan and schedule daily activities for our residents
  • Set up and clean up the activity room when necessary
  • Transport the patients from their rooms to the activity location
  • Engage the residents to encourage them to participate
  • Coordinate scheduling with other staff to avoid conflicts

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year experience in a Long Term Healthcare setting
  • Patient and compassionate
  • Strong Interpersonal and Communication skill
  • H.S diploma
