JOB TITLE: Activity Aide

WORKER CATEGORY: Full-Time Salary

ACTIVITY DIRECTOR SALARY: $40,000 - $45,000 annual salary

ACTIVITY DIRECTOR ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Hands-on leadership, set-up and participation for all resident activities – either personally leading activity or overseeing delegated staff
  • Create monthly activity calendar per facility license
  • Coordinate entertainment for calendar events
  • Oversee relationships with entertainers/vendors – completing the scheduling, payment, communication, W9s retrievals, and check requests
  • Conduct activities/interests/getting to know interview meetings with all new residents to assess interests and hobbies
  • Responsible for communication and postings of all community events (bulletin boards, front desk, elevator signs, invitations, etc.)
  • Available evening/weekends per scheduled activity/outing to supervise
  • Plan regular parties and special events for residents (holidays, welcome new admits, resident birthdays, socials) and send invites to residents/families
  • Assist with marketing events and hosted events open to the public
  • Assist with meal service as needed
  • Be familiar with job descriptions and duties of Activities Aide and perform those tasks as needed
