Job description

Description:

Client First Technologies (CFT) currently is seeking an Active Directory Administrator who specializes in electronic classroom technical support. The Active Directory Administrator is responsible for ensuring student training infrastructure is functional and available, as well as managing user accounts in Active Directory, and assisting customers overcome technical challenges through monitoring and performance management. The Active Directory Administrator identifies problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission critical network.


As an Active Directory Administrator on our team, you will utilize your communication skills to turn metrics into information and communicate their meaning. You will gain experience in managing users and computers in an enterprise network. Our technical team offers an environment of skill development, knowledge sharing and teamwork.


This is a full-time, on-site position located in Dam Neck, VA. CFT offers a full benefits package, a collaborative work environment and strong company culture. Veterans and military spouses are encouraged to apply.

Requirements:

Responsibilities

· Provide system and network connectivity and interoperability support within an electronic classroom environment

· Manage user accounts and permissions within Active Directory

· Provide security and compliance systems maintenance

· Provide routine maintenance, including break and fix, backup and recovery, and inventory and asset management

· Document troubleshooting procedures

· Manage technical issues within the ticketing system


Qualifications

· Minimum of three (3) years of experience providing technical support

· Must hold current IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE, CCNA, CISSP, CySA+, etc.)

· Experience managing user accounts, permissions and groups within Active Directory

· Workstation and server hardware installation, maintenance, board replacement, and cable switching

· Systems and network connectivity and operability troubleshooting

· Experience managing a ticketing system

· Ability to document technical processes and procedures

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Expert level Microsoft Office Suite knowledge


Physical Demands

· Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time

· Occasional travel and overtime may be required


Required Clearances

· Must possess an active Secret clearance or higher
