Position Summary
ACR Health Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Community Behavioral Health Therapist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be a licensed clinician in the state of Georgia (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or associate-level equivalent) who is passionate about providing high-quality behavioral health services to individuals and families within the community.
This position focuses on delivering Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other evidence-based interventions. The therapist will work collaboratively to promote recovery, resilience, and emotional wellness for diverse populations in both office and community settings.
Key Responsibilities
Provide individual, group, and family therapy using trauma-informed and evidence-based approaches (TF-CBT, DBT, etc.).
Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
Deliver services in various settings, including client homes, schools, and community facilities.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and community partners to coordinate care.
Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with DBHDD and agency standards.
Participate in staff meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
Active Georgia license: LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or associate-level license (APC, LMSW, AMFT).
Minimum of one (1) year of experience providing behavioral health services.
Expertise in Trauma-Focused CBT or DBT is required.
Strong communication, organizational, and clinical documentation skills.
Commitment to serving diverse populations and supporting community-based care.
Preferred Qualifications
Two (2) or more years of experience in community-based mental health.
Experience working with children, adolescents, and families.
Familiarity with DBHDD guidelines and documentation standards.
Bilingual proficiency (Spanish/English or other languages).
Compensation and Benefits
Competitive salary: $68,000 – $85,000 per year, based on experience and licensure.
