What does an acquisitions analyst intern do?

An Acquisitions Analyst Intern supports the acquisitions team in identifying, analyzing, and evaluating potential investment opportunities, often in real estate or corporate sectors. Their responsibilities typically include conducting market research, performing financial modeling, assisting with due diligence, and preparing reports or presentations for senior management. This role provides valuable hands-on experience in deal analysis, industry research, and the acquisition process, helping interns develop analytical and communication skills necessary for a career in finance or real estate.

Familiarity with Excel, Argus, and financial analysis software, as well as knowledge of market research databases, is typically required. Attention to detail, effective communication, and a proactive attitude are standout soft skills for this role.
