Role Overview:

The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for leading recruiting efforts across Visterra Landscape Group and owning the execution of the company's talent acquisition strategy across critical business functions. This role will manage a team of recruiters while directly supporting higher-priority and business-critical openings across the organization, including field leadership, operations, and corporate roles.

This position will serve as a key talent acquisition leader for the business, partnering closely with HR and operational leadership to drive recruiting performance, improve hiring processes, and provide regular visibility into recruiting activity through weekly reporting and key talent acquisition metrics. In addition to day-to-day recruiting leadership, the Talent Acquisition Manager will help build and manage Visterra's internship and campus recruiting efforts to strengthen long-term talent pipelines and support future growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts across Visterra Landscape Group for higher-priority, business-critical, and hard-to-fill roles across field leadership, operations, corporate, and other key functions.
  • Manage and develop a team of two recruiters, including workload allocation, coaching, performance support, and day-to-day recruiting direction.
  • Serve as the primary owner of recruiting execution across the business, ensuring hiring priorities are aligned with business needs and talent acquisition goals.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers, HR, and leadership to develop recruiting strategies, calibrate candidate profiles, and drive timely hiring decisions.
  • Personally manage and drive recruiting activity for high-impact or difficult-to-fill roles, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer support.
  • Build, launch, and manage a structured internship program to support early-career talent development and long-term talent pipeline needs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with colleges, universities, trade schools, and other pipeline sources to support internship, campus, and entry-level recruiting efforts.
  • Represent Visterra at career fairs, campus recruiting events, college presentations, and industry networking opportunities to strengthen employer brand and attract talent.
  • Own weekly recruiting reporting for HR and leadership, including open requisitions, hiring progress, bottlenecks, source performance, and other key recruiting updates.
  • Create, monitor, and report on key recruiting metrics, including time-to-fill, source of hire, funnel conversion, offer acceptance rate, and recruiter productivity.
  • Evaluate sourcing channels, job board performance, and external recruiting partnerships to improve recruiting effectiveness and return on investment.
  • Help standardize recruiting processes, interview practices, and candidate experience across Visterra's partner companies and regions.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field required.
  • 7-10 years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience, including experience supporting multiple business functions, locations, or business units in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • Prior experience managing, mentoring, or leading recruiters, with demonstrated ability to coach a recruiting team and drive recruiting performance.
  • Strong experience in full-cycle recruiting across a mix of field, operations, corporate, and business-critical roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to personally manage high-priority, high-impact, or difficult-to-fill roles while overseeing broader recruiting activity.
  • Experience building, launching, or managing an internship program or other early-career talent initiatives.
  • Experience with campus recruiting, including building relationships with colleges, universities, or trade schools and attending recruiting events.
  • Strong experience with recruiting metrics, dashboards, and weekly reporting, including the ability to present hiring activity and talent acquisition performance to leadership.
  • Bilingual in Spanish, Required.
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and other sourcing tools to support recruiting strategy and execution.
  • Experience in landscaping, construction, field services, manufacturing, distribution, or other operationally driven environments is preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to travel approximately 40% for campus recruiting, hiring events, and business support across Visterra's footprint.
