Job description

This role offers a full-time position splitting responsibilities between retail and inpatient pharmacy settings, providing a dynamic and engaging work environment. The position operates on a 4-day workweek schedule, 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, with one weekday off and rotating weekends, ensuring work-life balance and schedule variety.
Location: Harbor Beach, MI - with retail and hospital sites conveniently located just a block apart.
Work Schedule:

  • 4 days per week, 7:30 am to 5:30 pm

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Review medication orders from physicians or authorized prescribers for accuracy, allergies, and potential interactions.
  • Prepare intravenous medications using established formulas and processes.
  • Provide answers and informational support to both staff and patients effectively.
  • Perform duties independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality in all professional activities.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy.
  • Licensed pharmacist in the State of Michigan.
