Job description

Job Description
The Collections Research Analyst audits aged orders for accuracy, confirms past-due status, and partners with clients and internal teams to resolve discrepancies, support commission corrections, and drive timely cash collection.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate vendor files by processing timely additions and corrections, completing reconciliations, and preparing write-offs as needed.
  • Manage an assigned portfolio of accounts; monitor status, identify blockers, and take appropriate action to prevent or resolve collection delays.
  • Collaborate with peers and cross-functional partners to share updates, align on next steps, and ensure end-to-end account ownership and visibility.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis and prepare routine and custom reports to support collections outcomes and decision-making.
  • Meet the physical requirements outlined below.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Education
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Preferred field of study: Accounting or Finance.

Work Experience
  • 3-5 years of related experience required (collections, accounts receivable, deductions, or similar financial operations).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Build and maintain professional, productive relationships with vendors, ADW internal associates, and Acosta internal associates.
  • Demonstrate initiative by recommending and implementing process improvements and identifying ways to better support clients and customers.
  • Proficient in running reports in multiple systems and cross-referencing data in Excel to research issues and support resolutions.
