Job description

Seeking BC/BE OB/GYN physician to join our group of 8 OB/GYN physicians and 5 CNMs. New residency graduates welcome!

Connecticut Coastal OB/GYN is a devoted group of obstetrician-gynecologists and certified nurse-midwives who collaborate to practice safe, evidence-based, personalized health care. We are an established group based in New Haven with 4 additional satellite offices conveniently located in nearby communities. Our offices are equipped with modern 3D ultrasound machines and we work with skilled sonographers. Our practice is seeking a full-scope generalist OB/Gyn. Candidates are encouraged to submit their CV and cover letters are welcomed.

Enjoy the benefits of being part of a single specialty group affiliated with a renowned academic hospital in New Haven, CT. Provide obstetric care in a recently remodeled Labor & Birth floor with new operating rooms. Perform Gyn surgery at the hospital and in a state-of-the-art surgical center.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Inpatient obstetrical and gynecologic care

  • Outpatient obstetrical and gynecologic care

  • Collect accurate medical, obstetrical, and gynecological history

  • Perform physical examinations for patients including Pap smear, breast examination, abdominal examination and pelvic examinations

  • Maintain an accurate record of all observations made within the patient's chart and complete records in a timely fashion

  • Prescribe medications for contraception and insert contraception medical devices

  • Admit, manage, and discharge patients as necessary

Job requirements include:

Board certified or board eligible. Must obtain privileges at affiliated hospital to start.

License/Certification:

MD or DO
