Job description

RSS Tier 2 Technician
Salary Range: $65,000 to $79,000 per year
Ops Tech Alliance (OTA) is seeking Remote Site Services (RSS) Tier 2 Technicians to support the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC) at the Presidio of Monterey, CA. This role performs Mobile Device Management (MDM), client configuration management, and end-user support for the RSS environment. This position is contingent upon contract award.
Responsibilities
• Administer Mobile Device Management (MDM) for iOS, iPadOS, and macOS devices.
• Perform client configuration management for end-user devices.
• Provide end-user support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Plan, install, maintain, and troubleshoot RSS servers and applications, including after-hours work as required.
• Coordinate with the ITS Lead, Network, and DevOps teams on incident resolution and configuration changes.
• Document tickets, configurations, and changes in the ITSM platform.
Required Qualifications
• AA/AS in a related discipline from an accredited college or university, OR 3+ years of related experience in lieu of degree.
• Active IAT Level II certification (one of: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP) plus applicable CE/OS certification.
• Working knowledge of macOS, Windows, and iOS.
• U.S. Citizenship; ability to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC).
Desired Qualifications
• Hands-on experience with Jamf Pro or Microsoft Intune for MDM.
• Apple Certified Mac Technician (ACMT) or Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP).
• Prior DoD or Army IT services experience.
• Active Secret clearance (a plus, not required).
