Job description

This employee supervises the daily operations of warehouse and distribution departments by ensuring the development, implementation, and compliance of all operational policies and procedures with special emphasis on ACHC, OSHA, and FDA guidelines.
  • Responsible for overseeing purchasing related processes
    • explore and propose new and improved approaches for saving time and money
  • Oversees shipping related activities
    • explores and implements alternative cost saving opportunities
  • Oversees facilities and maintenance requirements and ensures warehouse interior and exterior is maintained in the cleanest, safest, most efficient manner
  • Train, Coordinate, and motivate Cleaning and Function Testing personnel
  • Compiles and submits Performance Improvement requirements and recommendations
  • Supervisory Responsibilities:
    • Manages team of employees
    • responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units
    • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
    • interviewing, hiring, and training employees
    • planning, assigning, and directing work
    • appraising performance
    • rewarding and disciplining employees
    • addressing complaints and resolving problems
