Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed mental health assessments to understand patients' psychological and medical backgrounds.
• Develop and implement personalized integrated treatment plans that cater to both psychiatric and medical conditions.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions designed to meet the unique needs of each patient, applying evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
• Collaborate closely with medical professionals to coordinate treatment efforts, ensuring comprehensive care and improved outcomes.
• Provide crisis intervention services and support patients experiencing mental health emergencies.
• Educate patients on the interplay between mental and physical health, empowering them to take an active role in managing their conditions.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse range of patients facing complex challenges, including individuals with co-occurring conditions such as those experiencing chronic pain or substance use disorders. A focus on integrated care will be central to this role, where the therapist’s insights will bridge mental health with medical considerations.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in a relevant field such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of California.
• Proven ability to assess and address mental health needs in individuals with co-occurring medical conditions.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills necessary for effective patient interaction and collaboration with other healthcare professionals.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in an integrated care setting or telehealth environment is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and telehealth platforms.
• Strong capacity for teamwork and maintaining professional boundaries while ensuring patient confidentiality.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary in the range of USD 120,000 to 140,000 annually. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
