Job description

We are a large, established electrical contractor based in Fort Worth, Texas, specializing in multifamily projects throughout Texas and New Mexico. We are seeking an experienced, organized, and detail-oriented Office Manager / Accountant to support our growing operations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day accounting and administrative operations
  • Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks
  • Prepare and update Schedules of Values (SOVs)
  • Prepare and maintain Work-in-Progress (WIP) schedules
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Prepare customer invoices and track payments
  • Assist with job costing, project billing, and financial reporting
  • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Maintain vendor, subcontractor, and customer records
  • Coordinate with project managers, field personnel, and company leadership
  • Support payroll, benefits administration, and general office operations
  • Help ensure accurate, timely, and organized project documentation

Qualifications

  • Previous accounting or office-management experience, preferably in the electrical contracting or construction industry
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks
  • Working knowledge of SOVs, WIP schedules, job costing, and construction billing
  • Strong understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
