Overview

The position:


Do you have a strong interest in accounting, the ability to handle multiple tasks and details simultaneously, and exceptional customer service skills? As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will hold a critical position in the company by making sure we are staying up to date on all of our bills! In this position you will do things like: 

  • Work in office 40 hours per week 
  • Review and verify all invoices for appropriate approval 
  • Scan and enter invoices into accounting system 
  • Review vendor statements and work with vendors to research and correct differences 
  • Mail checks to vendors 
  • Other assigned duties 

What makes you successful:


A successful Accounts Payable Clerk needs to have 

  • A strong interest in Accounting, 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills,  
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and other computer skills, 
  • A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, 
  • Data entry skills
