Position: Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist
Location: Hybrid – Allentown, PA
Pay Rate: $24/hr
Duration: Through August 24, 2027


In this role, you'll support accounts payable and receivable activities, process invoices and electronic payments, reconcile vendor and customer accounts, and help resolve payment-related issues while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Match and validate invoices against purchase orders and process disbursement requests.
  • Research and resolve invoice and payment exceptions with internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare and process electronic payments.
  • Respond to internal and external invoice and payment inquiries.
  • Reconcile monthly vendor and customer statements and related transactions.
  • Maintain accurate AP/AR records and ensure transactions comply with company policies.
  • Provide support to internal users regarding AP/AR processes.
  • Assist with accounting administration, including scanning, processing mail, copying, and document management.
  • Support the team with backlog or high-priority accounting activities.
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial and organizational information.
  • Research and process exception/problem invoices and payments through final resolution.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3–5 years of relevant AP/AR or accounting experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and learn new processes.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Oracle and/or accounts payable experience is preferred but not required.
