Accounts Payable Specialist

International logistics company is currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team.

Main Responsibilities

  • Receive, review, and process invoices accurately.
  • Perform bank account reconciliations and account analysis.
  • Prepare balance and financial reports for management.
  • Handle check deposits and payment control.
  • Process vendor payments and maintain vendor accounts.
  • Record payroll accruals and related reports.
  • Support accounting closing processes and billing activities.
  • Maintain organized accounting and administrative files.
  • Review statements and invoices.
  • Create and manage purchase orders (warehouses, agencies, administrative supplies).
  • Assist with inventory control.
  • Utilize QuickBooks for daily accounting operations.
  • Use Microsoft Word and Excel efficiently.

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting and accounts payable.
  • Experience with accounting software programs.
  • Strong QuickBooks experience is required.
  • Knowledge of U.S. banking processes.
  • Basic English communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Valid work authorization required.

Working Conditions

  • Full-time position (40 hours per week)
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Pay: $19.00 per hour
  • Biweekly payroll through payroll company with direct deposit
