About the Role
We're seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you'll lead and oversee the accounts payable function, ensuring vendor invoices and payments are processed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with company policies. You will play a key role in supporting financial operations, maintaining vendor relationships, and driving process improvements that contribute to the success of our organization.

What You'll Do
    • Oversee the full accounts payable cycle, including the receipt, review, approval, and processing of invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests.
    • Lead, mentor, and develop the Accounts Payable team, ensuring high performance, accountability, and continuous professional growth.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers while resolving payment discrepancies and addressing inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
    • Partner with Finance, Operations, and Project Management teams to ensure accurate payment processing and financial reporting.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal control requirements.
    • Prepare, review, and analyze AP reports, including aging reports, cash flow forecasts, accruals, and other management reports.
    • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, reduce errors, and enhance overall AP operations.
    • Support month-end and year-end close activities, audits, and financial reconciliations.
    • Contribute to a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Position Requirements
What You Bring
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
    • 5-7+ years of accounts payable or accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
    • Strong understanding of accounts payable processes, accounting principles, financial controls, and compliance requirements.
    • Proficiency with accounting and ERP systems, as well as Microsoft Excel and other financial software tools.
    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
    • Proactive mindset with a sense of urgency, ownership, and accountability.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization.
