Job description

Business Manager/Accounts Receivable-Payable
St. Charles Public Schools is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative professional to serve as its Business Manager beginning September 1, 2026.
This position is a 260 day position and is a key member of the District Office team and will play a critical role in supporting the superintendent, school finances, staff, students, and the school board.  
Salary range:  $93,500.  This position is benefit eligible including health, life, dental, and long term disability insurance along with PTO and 403b.  This position is open until filled.  EOE

Required Qualifications

  • Relevant education and/or work experience in Finance and general accounting practices
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and provide excellent customer service
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Desire to support students, staff, school board, and the educational mission of the district
     

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree/Certification in Accounting, Payroll, Finance, Business, HR, or related field
  • Experience in Minnesota school district or public sector finance
  • Familiarity with UFARS, SmartFinance or other AP software
  • Experience with accounts payable, reconciliations, and audit preparation
  • Desire to continue with professional growth and opportunity
