We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to support day-to-day invoice and payment activities for a 4-6 week position based in Leesburg, Georgia. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing high-volume financial transactions with accuracy. The selected candidate will help maintain timely payment workflows, ensure invoice records are properly coded, and contribute to efficient accounts payable operations.


Responsibilities:

• Review incoming invoices for completeness, accuracy, and proper approval before processing

• Assign correct accounting codes to invoices and enter payment data into the system with close attention to detail

• Process vendor invoices in a timely manner to support accurate and efficient payment cycles

• Prepare and assist with scheduled check runs to ensure payments are issued according to company timelines

• Reconcile invoice information against supporting documentation and resolve discrepancies when needed

• Maintain organized accounts payable records and documentation for audit and reporting purposes

• Communicate with internal teams and vendors to clarify billing questions and payment status
