Accountant (Payroll & Accounts Payable) – Hybrid

Key Responsibilities for the Accountant (Payroll & Accounts Payable) Role:

  • Manage and process semi-monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely employee payments.
  • Serve as the payroll system administrator and liaison with the external payroll provider, including payroll allocations, reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Oversee the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice processing, vendor maintenance, employee reimbursements, and payment runs.
  • Prepare payroll, audit, and financial reports while supporting internal controls and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Assist with cash receipts, account reconciliations, audit support, and other accounting functions as needed.

Qualifications for the Accountant (Payroll & Accounts Payable):

  • Associate degree in Accounting plus 4+ years of payroll and accounts payable experience, or an equivalent combination of education and payroll experience.
  • Experience with MIP accounting software and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access.
